I have tried twisting the lens like people suggested, but I'm not having much luck. READ MORE © CBS Interactive Inc. / All Rights Reserved. My mind's made up to get the Canon PowerShot A620. The E18 could still show up if you drop the camera, or toss it in the sand.

Oh right. So Finally, she turned the camera ON and within those first five seconds, she turned the lens in all 3 sections until she heard it "SNAP" Into place. In some cases, the lens might extend or retract to a certain amount, but not fully. Canon Lens Error 01 You have to twist hard.
I finally got it 3rd try. Lens Error Canon S100 I had to turn the camera on and off several times for the lens to reset, but I got it to work. The A610 takes gorgeous photos they are so stunning, I got a 1gig memory card and wow I will never fill it up, well maybe in May when I go on click site I fixed it! Oh yeah and did the pictures she take stay on the camera after she popped the lens an stuff back in? It may be possible for you to recover from this error by dismantling the camera and dislodging whatever is obstructing the lens or lens geartrain. However, this time I am not under warranty and they want to charge me $128 for the repair. I tried what happened to your sister and it still is beeping.

The problem can happen due to a number of reasons: If dirt or sand get into the lens mechanism If a a user dropps his or her camera with the lens Je moet dit vandaag nog doen.
