If the easy fixes didn't work, then the camera probably needs replacement of the entire lens assembly, which is no trivial task. Guess I'll have to get a new one. The first time I turned it on I got this error.Yes I dropped it but what about all the years I took care of it. Sent to Canon under some other class action and got it back the same way, code E18.
