We found your suggestions to move the purge unit -- the unit works fine now. I have changed my magenta cartridge evn though it still had some ink in it. Hi,Welcome to Just Answer ,My name isXXXXX will try to help you..This is basically a hardware error related to Purge Unit/Waste ink absorber (WIA). Fished it out with a pair of long tweezers and everything seems fine now. I removed it. Foreign object ex. I shut off the printer, rocked the white plastic purge unit (per your advice). However, mine was still getting stuck after I cleaned it.
