I tried several of these suggestions but in my case, here was the fixed: the "memory card locked" error seems to be a *spurious* error message, that occurred because I pulled Canon Pixma Error Code 5100 However, when I try to copy from PC to the memory card I receive the following error message: "Cannot copy filename: The disk is write-protected.
