Brother Mfc 3820cn Error Code 41
Being an ex field printer technician I felt that was excellent service from both Brothers and from Adams Electronics. Well we receieved the new print head yesterday and my husband installed it and now our printer works perfect. After talking to a supervisor he told me they'd pick up the parts but Id have to pay for the labor (the most expensive part.) I asked if he could just thanks for all. - Anonymous 0 Well... Unfortuantely, my receipt date is March 19 2003 from Cost U Less in Guam. If you do, what frequency are they?If they are 2.4 GHz, then you have an overlap of wireless connections. To be fair they need to make their money somewhere and the machines come pretty cheap to buy but still. This appears to be planned obsolecense on the part of Brother. For example I had call from a BP (BP stands for business partner which is what customers are called)who had me41 on a machine that was outside of the extended warranty.

I called Brother about it andwas told I'd have to ship the printer to a place 135 milesaway at my expense. They said to wait 24 hours for the work order to be created. I called my supervisor who didn't hesitate to authorise me to take care of the repair costs. My experience has been a good one, but a few personal observations:To the "insider" that said that the problem has been around for years and that the buyer should take the I called Brother and the rep issued a repair order to a local authorized servicer and asked if the warranty would reset.
With this error, I can't use the MFC at all (no sending fax or scanning)!!
