Windows 10 and El Capitan hate each other. Its almost goes without saying that for most of us we will not be particularly enthused with destructive fixes because it is not uncommon these days to have a minimum of a 1TB I formatted it on NTFS and after that it allowed me to select the partition and installed successfully there. We must use it because Boot Camp is the only application that can create usable disk space for the installation.
